The President is lending his support as the search for Nancy Guthrie<\/a> <\/strong>continues. The mother of Today co-host Savannah Guthrie<\/a><\/strong> has not been seen since Saturday, following a dinner with her daughter Annie. The Pima County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI are reviewing a ransom note sent to a local news outlet in Arizona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators are desperate for leads in the case of the 84-year-old having disappeared five days ago. Donald Trump<\/a><\/strong> is offering as much assistance as possible in hopes of tracking her down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nancy\u2019s disappearance has captured the attention of many people, including the President. On his Truth Social<\/a>, Donald pledged that all local and federal law enforcement would be at the Guthrie\u2019s disposal \u201cIMMEDIATELY.\u201d He says that he spoke to Savannah, adding that they are deploying all resources to get Nancy home safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nancy is a widow who, Savannah says, has heart issues and requires medication daily. She and her siblings sent a video<\/a> pleading with the alleged kidnapper or kidnappers, saying they are ready to talk. A ransom note was sent to the KOLD newsroom in Arizona. Reporter Mary Coleman said that she read the note and believes it could be legitimate. She adds that there was plenty of information that only someone holding Nancy for ransom would know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Savannah has been missing from Today as the search for her mother continues. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos believes that Nancy is still alive. There was apparently blood found at Nancy\u2019s Tucson home, but it\u2019s unclear whose blood it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With her mother missing, Savannah will no longer be co-hosting the opening ceremonies in Italy for the Winter Olympics<\/a> on Friday. Mary Carillo will fill in for her, co-hosting the opening festivities alongside Terry Gannon. Craig Melvin<\/a> won\u2019t be going to Milan either, with Ahmed Fareed replacing him for NBC\u2019s Olympic Late Night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
