In her cover story with <a href=\"https:\/\/playgirl.com\/features\/luann-de-lesseps-knows-what-she-wants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Playgirl<\/a>, she reminisced on her unexpected path back to their front page. According to Luann, it wasn&#8217;t easy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luann explained that modeling in New York was difficult, and she wound up going to Europe. There, she credited her run in the Lady Universe pageant for catapulting her to success. She said it gave her \u201cexposure to a whole milieu of people, including the Spumante family and the Pellegrino people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eventually, she became the \u201cVanna White of Italian TV,\u201d and later met the Count during a ski trip in Switzerland. They tied the knot and bounced back and forth between New York and Switzerland before finally settling in the Big Apple. Switzerland couldn\u2019t keep up with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s very quiet. It\u2019s beautiful, but you\u2019re living amongst the mountain goats,\u201d Luann told the outlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank goodness they settled on New York City, because that paved the way for her to become a Bravo star. Now, she\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/2024\/10\/21\/luann-de-lesseps-thankful-for-cabaret-career-tv-gigs-far-and-few-between\/\">touring the world<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/2024\/11\/05\/luann-de-lesseps-cabaret-career-rhony\/\">her cabaret show<\/a> and gracing the cover of the magazine as a cover star.
